The sold-out ID show was awesome! We were really close to the stage and a cameraman was right by us. He was filming the people in front of us the whole time and then he asked me to hold my hands up in the shape of a heart. I don't know if they'll use any of it in the music video but it was fun anyways. And as he was walking away he gave me his set list as a souvenir. Good times.

Lake to Lake Relay
Kate and I drove up to St. George to participate in a relay. I don't like to run (it's boring haha) but I'm all about teams :)

2012 Family pics
I really wanted to take a family picture this year but for a lot of reasons I didn't get around to scheduling a photographer so then I decided to take a quick one, in our backyard, on our couch, using a self-timer, on Jeff's lunch hour. All that considered I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out. It's us.
The amusing outtakes:
I posted this last one on Facebook with this caption: We took family pictures (with a self-timer, in our backyard, because I can never get my act together and hire a professional) and this one made me laugh and laugh. I'm sure Grayson secretly loves being in our family...secretly.
50 people liked its awesomeness.

Christmas Pics
We block our stairs so the kids can't go down and peek :)
Checking out the stocking loot.
Davis shooting his bbgun by the wood pile.
Legos for Gray
Legos for Leah too.
Legos for Whitney too :) And a microphone, a Dora one.

Where did 2012 go!?
This year Blogger's picture uploader changed and caused me so many problems I didn't post NEARLY as much as I wanted to!! Such a bummer. I guess one if my New Years resolutions should be to find a better way so I can document our lives like I want. Technology will not best me ;) Anyways, we've had an eventful year and yet a "normal" one too. I think life is just meant to be busy :) One day I'll backtrack on my posts but until then I'll just have to settle posting pics of my cutie kids meeting Santa. We went and rode the train in Boulder City and here's what the kids asked him for: Leah- Legos
Davis- a BB gun
Grayson- a Wii
Whitney- a Dora bike
Good times.

Children
A friend of ours named their cutie baby Arrow and it remined me of this passage:
"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable."
-The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran
And here's a link that reminds me of Jeff's take on parenting ;)
