Ummmm...

The other day a neighbor, who does daycare out of her home, asked me if I do daycare because she always sees me with so many children it caused her to wonder. No...these are my kids...all of them.

How many have your name?

Turns out I'm an original :) I don't trust this website but it would be cool if it were true. It did say there are 15,652 people in the U.S. with the last name Leavitt and I'm sure most of them live in Las Vegas :)

Mr. Pibb + Red Vines = Crazy Delicious

The title's just the beginning of the randomness.

My sister came to visit on the 7th and I didn't even blog about it! Here's the 10 days in a nutshell: laughing, eating, chasing around a lot of small children, exiling detergent and washing things with traditional soaps, looking at houses, watching Gavin Degraw put other artist's live shows to shame, hearing ourselves cheering for Gavin on YouTube. I miss her a lot.

Davis is the middle child right now and he kinda fits the bill. He likes writing on things with markers...mostly his face. Remember when he gave himself a mustache? Well, the other day he had drawn on his face and when I confronted him he said an ogre had cut him, "yeah mom they're ogre cuts". When I tried to explain that there aren't ogres in our house because I lock them out he said "they have big muscles and can break the doors". Well, before there were ogres doing naughty things there were bad guys. One bad guy had cut chunks out of Davis' hair!!! Not Davis, a bad guy. Good thing he looks so cute with a buzz cut.

We buzzed Grayson's hair too and now it's blond!

Jana posted about Anne Taintor who adds sayings to vintage pics. This one is my favorite:

Gossip Girl last night did not disappoint. I know it's a stupid show but it's the only show I got into this season so I'm sticking by it.

Today the kids were outside eating their Popsicles and when I walked out Davis informed me "Leah's pretending she's at the temple and I'm pretending I'm going to go get a massage." ha ha

Last but not least, I am now anxiously awaiting the Twilight movie. Only because they keep posting behind the scenes clips on MTV.com and they're good. "When you can live forever what do you live for?" I mean come on, that's a fantastic tag line. And Robert Pattinson is the perfect Edward. He really has no idea how celebrity he's going to be after this. Poor guy.

I love these things :)

Rachel tagged me so here I go:

1. Best meal: Shredded Pork burrito with medium salsa, enchilada style and a guacamole topper from Cafe Rio. Yeah baby!

2. Best Car:
That I've never owned, The Lexus IS.

Okay so I drive a mini-van, which I love, but if I was only going to have 3 kids and we'd still fit in a sedan I'd totally get this car! Wouldn't I just look so hot in it!?! And that red is to die for. It's red but it's a mature red and that's just so me. ha ha

That I've owned, Acura TSX.
I think it's weird when people put pictures of their cars on their pages but it asked :) And it's so pretty :)

3. Best hobbie: I LOVE to play volleyball! The only thing is that it's a team sport so it's difficult finding enough people to get a really good game going. That's why Jordan's going to let me play with him and his friends this summer all the time. Right Jordan!?

4. Best vacation : Disneyland was super fun!

5. Best vacation without kids: We don't do that :( Maybe this summer.

"I can see us holding hands
Walking on the beach, our toes in the sand.
I can see us on the countryside
Sitting on the grass, laying side by side."

6. Best job: My current job, stay-at-home mom. Other than that I've never had a job I've totally loved. But if I could chose any job I'd probably be a naturopathic doctor or nutritionist.

7. Best thing to buy if money was not an issue: Since I'm looking at houses so much I see them in my sleep, I'd have to say my dream home (which is what Rachel said too, ahhh BFF :). Here's a good one, follow the link for pictures of the inside, but seriously we don't have that kind of money.

8. Best age growing up: Being 17 rocked!! I was a senior in high school, I had my own car, school was easy, I played varsity volleyball and basketball, my friends knew how to have fun. Good times.

9. Best toys when I was a kid: The only toys I remember from childhood were Cabbage Patch Kids. I don't get really attached to "things" so they're easily forgotten.

10. Best date before I was married : Senior Prom, I loves me some dancing :)

I tag: Keri, Misty, Jana and Jocie

Where has the time gone?

I've been traveling so much I've been a lazy blogger! Here's a little catch-up:
After I came home from Cleveland the kids and I drove to Blythe. Davis kept begging to go to his Papa's house for "this-many days" as he holds up four fingers :) The Riverside County Fair was in town and you know how I loves me some funnel cakes and freshly baked cinnamon rolls!! And farm animals, I will always have a special place in my heart for farm animals :) Ha ha. Anyways, we really don't have a lot going on right now so when I left I wasn't sure when I'd be back. So the kids and I perused the fair, dilly dallied on my parent's five-acres, busted out the water slide, enjoyed some stock car racing at Blythe Speedway and ended up staying six days! And Davis was still disappointed to leave!!

Happy Birthday My Love!

My hubby is turning 30 today!!! Even though I'd love to shower him with gifts and make today his special day he worked all day and as soon as he gets home we're leaving to go to Cedar City. How boring...maybe it's a sign that he's old ;)

** Just so you know Jeff isn't a medical doctor, he's getting his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Yeah, my hubby's a genius! And adorable :)
